Movies I don’t UNDERSTAND

Posted on June 11, 2008 under Life as it is...

1. Spiderman 1-3

http://samuelthambusamy.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/spiderman3spider-man-3-posters.jpg

Quite frankly, this is "For the Boys" movie. I have no idea what Spiderman’s problem is. He’s just swinging around New York doing his off the hook stunts. I was watching these movies with my boyfriends back then and I don’t get how the movie got them so excited. It’s plain BORING. I can’t grasp why these movies is such a big hit. Like so what if the Octopus guy kills MJ.

2. Jerry McGuire

This is probably the cheesiest chick flick movie I’ve ever seen. And so boring. I don’t understand the plot. I remember well that I always slept when the movie aired on HBO. It’s not even romantic because it’s so BORING! So what if Tom Cruise is hot. I was shocked that this movie always topped some movie countdowns. It’s suppose to comedy. But I can’t find any comedy here…Image:Jerry Maguire movie poster.jpg

3. The Matrix Trilogy

Yet another boring movie. We have the complete set of The Matrix and I can’t get myself to watch it. It’s too sci-fi.

4. Saving Private Ryan/Tora Tora

My dad loves these movies. It’s action pack full of guns but obviously girls like me hate it. I can’t stand the guns and all the shouting. Why can’t they make a simple quite easy understandble movie. Like what’s the whole fuzz about Private Ryan?

5. Chronicles of Narnia

http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p28/francisricafort22/My%20Myspace/Latest%20One/narnia.jpg

A children’s tale. And boring. I can’t even stay awake for 30 minutes. A talking LION? Huh?

6.  Pirates of the Carribean 2-3

The first Pirate is fun. But stay out of the sequel. I have the complete movies and I can’t watch it because it’s boring from the first 5 minutes of the film.

7. Runaway Bride

Another boring movie brought to you by the beautiful  big smile girl. Gush, forgot her name (oh yeah, it’s julia roberts). And some cute old hunkie guy. It’s about hookers and all that.

Some Insight of a GPS

Posted on June 10, 2008 under Life as it is...

I’m not sure if you might have noticed it, but the world is indeed changing dramatically. It’s getting worse and worse each passing day.  Obviously, the diesel cost is getting higher and higher and we can’t stop it. It’s totally inevitable and it’s nearing $6 per gallon and it will continue to escalate as the day passes. And what’s worse is that there are so many truck drivers who are stealing from their company by fueling out and selling it on the black market.

In one very unfortunate event, a customer of GPS Insight asked them in solving the mysterious behavior of a certain new truck driver who is constantly stopping for a period of time and doing it again and again which is quite odd. Thanks to the GPS Insight vehicle tracking system which was able to track the criminal who confessed and told them that he did the dirty deed to finance his drug habit. With the help of police, they were able track down the thief and to put him behind bars for good.

But of course, this kind of scenario doesn’t always happen. Often than not, most employers have no clue whatsoever that most of their employees are stealing from them without the use of a GPS device. In another blog for GPS vehicle tracking that I found is a scenario wherein the GPS insight helped an ambulance in a police chase and a horrific crash. Accordingly, they used GPS insight to view vehicle location in a real time mode by the dispatched personnel. The event actually made the news at CBS.

You might have noticed that I’ve been blabbing all about GPS Insight. Well, it’s an absolutely cool service and they only cost $1.50-2 per day per vehicle.

To sum it up, GPS Insight is an absolute necessity.

Here’s why:

1.       No more labor paid when people or the employees aren’t really working since you can track them down.

2.       No more incident of a lost vehicle

3.       No more wrecked vehicle with a driver under the influence of drugs

4.       No harm done to other drivers/pedestrians by your driver

5.       No more stolen goods or illegally sold goods in the trailer

6.       Fuel savings

7.       Routing Efficiency

The GPS Insight support wiki for customers. It contains “Frequently Asked Questions” like How to register a vehicle and other technical questions you might ask along the way. They also put up new features help desk which is very valuable to many customers.

How to get your car insured

Posted on June 5, 2008 under Life as it is...

Having a car can be a dream come true to most people. But along with it, is the responsibility it entails. As a responsible citizen, you should get your car insured as soon as possible. Don’t you know that there are many criteria for making sure your car can be insured at the lowest rate as possible? Reading and researching about car insurance quotes can be the best alternative before hopping into high insurance payments.

Take for example, a luxury car such as Mercedes SLK classes, BMW, and other classmates of luxury cars are the hardest cars to get insured. It is because it has a market value that attracts thieves.  On the other hand average cars such as Chevrolet, Saturn Vue, Oldsmobile Silhouette, and the like are cars that is easiest to get insured.

But of course, insurers will first take a look at your driving history. So make sure you don’t stumble on tickets every now and then or they’ll surely give you a higher insurance quote. Other things that insurers will consider are sticker price, the cost to repair your car, replacement value, safety feature, and how well your car can withstand an accident. The lower the rates, the higher the chance to get your car insured.
