The Last Samurai Movie

We watched The Last Samurai yesterday for our Asian Civilization’s film viewing. I think it’s kinda neat but desperately boring. But in the end we learned something about Japan. I’d love to visit Japan or probably live there. They have nice customs and everything. I’ll definitely find a way to get there even though I’m not a descendant of Japanese…

oh well..

Today, when patients go to see their doctor, they want fast and efficient prescription for their symptoms. Doctors can make prescribing decisions just by using their Personal Digital Assistance or PDA to access medical information about a particular symptom. Epocrates has been credited for designing medical software for physicians. Their medical software is currently being used by over 500,000 healthcare practitioners.

Recently, Epocrates has been able to launch a free drug guide for Blackberry and a drug guide for iphone by accessing the Safari Web Browser. Furthermore, drug reference guides is readily available for health care professionals using different devices. It’s compatible with Pocket PC software, palm software, and windows mobile software.

The Samal Experience

We were all tired wen we eventually decided to go home. But the trip was worth it… It was an enjoyable and memorable one. For me, I enjoyed swimming and desperately trying to ride the paddle boat. And the night before was spent doing chika and my classmates getting drunk and wasted (I didn’t join with them, naks!).

We were short on food. The rice was overflowing but the viand was obviously short so we don’t have any more lunch. But it’s ok we were so tired anyway. Probably the best experience was when we were trying to get a ride on the paddle boat with about 7 of us. And each time it always stooped. But it was a lot of fun. Then we were carried away with the current and was trapped on an 8 feet fast current. Then Mira who don’t know how to swim was like swimming alone. And I was scared to death for her. But she was ok. Whew! For a minute there, I thought we’re gonna die.

So to finish it up, I’m so red right now and probably will have a sunburn even though I applied sunblock and I have muscle cramps all over. But it was definitely worth it!

Pa-burger ka naman

I first heard the commercial of McDo during my PolSci class when they were punching jokes like "Pa burger ka naman". And as a nonGMA and non-ABS watcher, I have no idea what they’re talking about. So I asked my classmate about the whole pa burger hysteria. And she told me about it. So I looked it up on youtube and found the video.

I say it’s classic and very original. They’re likely targeting teenagers on their ads obviously because the actors are teenagers themselves.

who teases someone about having a makeover. So the guy has to treat them a burger. The other ad is about a girl who had her hair styled with bangs so her friends teased her and eventually chanted the famous lines "burger, burger!".

Come to think of it, it had been years since I ate at McDo probably because I don’t have the money… Oh well. Wish someone could treat me… =)

If you watch news lately, you’d be alarmed with the current situation that had set the world on fire. I’m talking about the credit crisis that triggered the inflation and eventually spread to Europe and Asia. Nowadays, we live in a very troubled world that is why we have to prepare for calamities or problems in the future.

It would be best not too save too much money but to buy silver bullion. The silver price actually depreciated after the World War II when the US flood the world market with silver. Many people say that investing on precious metals such as silver coins can be the best investment to protect you and your family.
