Visiting Teaching
Posted on December 16, 2007 under Life as it is...
Today I had a blast together with Juvelyn and Stephanie. First stop, we went to Juvelyn’s boarding house to have our lunch. We had a dinuguan and some juicy topics and of course, gossips! Then thats when I decided I will be independed and rent a room. I mean I’m old and I think I can take care of myself. I think I can manage it since I’m now earning money. So then, I won’t ask for my parent’s money anymore.
We only have a hundred bucks to cover for our meals and transportation expenses but we managed to get thru with the day. Anyway, here’s the list of the day’s activities: At around 2 pm, we went to Sis. Sabisol to have our Visiting Teaching. And we just talked and have a wonderful time together. She shared to us her love story with her husband. It was awfully cute. Then to Sis Dela paz. Finally, we went to Dujali’s house to have the 3rd discussion which is about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We taught Daphne and Ian about faith, repentance, baptism, laying on of hands, enduring to the end, and sacrament. Then finally at around 5, we decided to go and watch the Christmas Devotional at Bajada chapel thinking that my parents would come so we could save money for our transportation. And just our bad luck, they didn’t come since they have downloaded the whole session in the internet. Good thing there were kind members of our ward who offered us a ride back home.
Overall, it was a great and a wonderful fruitful sunday!
Cheers!
Cheryl
